About us:Bear Lake North RV Park & Campground is owned and operated by Kent and Masami Wilkes. We took over operation of the park the end of June 2003. We live on site with Mitsy, Cookies, and Cream the three cats who think the park belongs to them. Kent grew up in St. Charles and is very pleased to be able to share this wonderful place with his guests.About the park:The park is located in St. Charles on the east side of highway 89 and straddles 200 North street . We are less than ten minutes from Bear Lake's North Beach, and 25 minutes from Minnetonka cave. The ATV trails of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest are accessible from the RV Park. (Motorized Trail map link. The RV Park is located on about T15S, R44E) All the RV sites have full hookups, and all the tent sites have a picnic table and firepit. There are 3 small one room cabins. There is a centrally located laundry room with 3 coin operated washers and 3 coin operated dryers. The restrooms have regular flush toilets, and the showers are coin operated. Pets must be kept on a leash and your cooperation in the removal of any waste is GREATLY appreciated.About the town:St Charles isn't exactly a metropolis in fact it is barely a village. The sign outside of town says the population is 131, but I suspect in the summer our population is considerably higher and our winter population is probably lower. St. Charles is a great place to stay Lil ole Saint Charles has one claim to fame. It is the birthplace of Gutzon Borglum the sculpter of Mt. Rushmore.About Bear Lake:Fresh AirKind People Beautiful Scenery |
